2012 Monroe County Citizen's Academy

The Monroe County Citizens Academy, a program of Purdue Extention - Monroe County, provides residents eighteen years of age or older with an in-depth look at the functions and “behind the scenes” activities of Monroe County government. Particpants will learn about county services and how they can become more civically engaged as they interact with department heads and elected officals.

The acedemy will take place every Wednesday from October 3rd until November 29. Attendance and commitment is respectfully asked, since you will receive valuable information not only in discussion but also in written form. There is no cost to participate.

Most sessions will take place at the Extension Office, located at 3400 South Walnut (just south of the National Guard Armory).

If you are interested in participating, please complete and return the registration form found in the brochure and return it to Purdue Extention - County County Office.
